Every year on June 1st, the World Day of Parents is observed. The United Nations General Assembly declared this day in 2012 by approving a resolution honouring parents for their unwavering support, sacrifice, and devotion to their children.
2 June : International Sex Workers' Day
This day is observed not only in Europe, but all throughout the world on June 2nd. International Sex Workers' Day is marked on June 2nd because on that date in 1975, over 100 sex workers occupied Sant-Nizier Church in Lyon, France, to protest their exploitative living conditions and work ethic. On June 10, police conducted a harsh raid on the church. This action becomes a national movement and is now honoured throughout Europe and the world.
2 June : Telangana Formation Day
