Indian Air Force Agniveer Exam Pattern
The exam pattern is different for each post. Since the educational qualification for different posts is different, the exam pattern has also been set accordingly. The detailed exam pattern for each post is as given below:- The exam is to be held in online mode.
- The time duration varies as per the course selected.
- There is a negative marking in the examination.
For candidates with subjects other than science: The online test will last 45 minutes overall and include Reasoning & General Awareness and English from the 10+2 CBSE syllabus (RAGA).
For applicants who have studied both science and non-science subjects: The online test will last 85 minutes overall and include Reasoning & General Awareness, English, Physics, and Mathematics according to the 10+2 CBSE curriculum (RAGA).

Marking Pattern for Indian Air Force Online Test:
(a) One mark for Every Correct Answer
(b) Nil (0) marks for Unattempted questions
(c) 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
- Science Subjects. The total duration of the online test shall be 60 minutes and shall comprise English, Physics, and Mathematics as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
- Other Than Science Subjects. The total duration of the online test shall be 45 minutes and shall comprise English as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
- Science Subjects & Other Than Science Subjects. The total duration of the online test shall be 85 minutes and shall comprise English, Physics, and Mathematics as per the 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
Indian Air Force Agniveer: Selection Process
According to the official notification, the selection process for Aginveers through Indian Air Force Recruitment 2022 consists of the following Stages:
Stage 1- Written Exam
Stage 2- CASB
Stage 3- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
Stage 4- Adaptability Test-I, and II
Stage 5- Document Verification
Stage 6- Medical Examination
Indian Air Force Agniveer: Adaptability Test: I & II
Adaptability Test- I-The Adaptability Test-I (objective type written test) is required of all candidates who pass the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and is used to determine whether a candidate is qualified to join the Indian Air Force (IAF), which requires deployment in a variety of geographic terrain, weather, and operational conditions.
Adaptability Test- II-According to current policy, all applicants who pass Adaptability Test-I must also take Adaptability Test-II.
The purpose of the Adaptability Test-II is to identify applicants who can adapt to the Indian Air Force's environment and can live a military lifestyle.
Indian Air Force Agniveer Physical Efficiency Test
Physical Fitness Test (PFT) would consist of-

Indian Air Force Mandatory Medical Standards
General Medical Standards for AGNIVEER VAYU are enlisted below follows:-

Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) | Not Acceptable |
Hearing | The candidate should be able to hear normally, i.e., the candidate should be able to distinguish a forced whisper at a distance of six metres with each ear. |
Dental | Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and a minimum of 14 dental points. |
General Health |
The candidate must have normal anatomy and no appendages missing.
He should be free of any skin conditions, infections, acute or chronic medical conditions, latent or active, acute or chronic, or surgical disabilities. |
