The age limit for JPSC for candidates belonging to various categories is as follows:

General category/EWS
  • 35 years
Backward class I and II
  • 37 years
SC/ST (For both male and female)
  • 40 years
Persons with Benchmark Disability
  • Maximum 10 years in their respective category:
    • UR – 45
    • BC-I; BC-II – 47
    • SC/ST – 50
    • Women (UR/EBC) – 48
Women (General/Extremely Backward Classes)
  • Maximum 38 years
Ex-Servicemen
  • Maximum 5 years in their respective category:
    • UR – 40
    • BC-I; BC-II – 42
    • SC/ST – 45
    • Women (UR/EBC) – 43
SC/ST (For both male and female)
  • Maximum 40 years
 

JPSC Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications

Candidates should have completed graduation from a recognised college or university to be eligible to appear for the exam. Final year students are not eligible to apply unless they complete their graduation before the last date of application submission.
