The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has reopened the State Service Exam 2024 online application window. The MPPSC has released  138 vacancies.
Candidates must apply at the earliest, but before applying they should ensure they know the details related to the MPPSC Eligibility. The eligibility is determined by the Commission. The official notification has all the details related to the vacancy, eligibility, exam dates, and other details related to the examination. The essential details related to the MPPSC Eligibility are followed:
  1. The eligibility for the exam is based on Nationality, Age Limit, Number Of Attempts, and Educational Qualification.
  2. The prelims exam for the year of 2024 is scheduled for june 23rd, 2024.
  3. In the last year's examination, approximately 2 lack candidates had applied for the examination.
  4. The age limit for the examination is 21 to 45 years.

MPPSC Eligibility 

The official notification for the exam carries the eligibility criteria in detail. Before applying for the post candidates should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria. As per the official notification, the MPPSC eligibility for the year 2024 is based on the following parameters:
  1. Nationality 
  2. Age Limit 
  3. Educational Qualification 
  4. Number of Attempts

MPPSC Eligibility - Nationality 

As per the official notification, a candidate must be.
  • A Citizen of India 
  • A Subject of Nepal 
  • A Subject of Bhutan 
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India 
  • A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

 MPPSC Eligibility- Age Limit 

Candidates applying for this exam should be between 21 years to 45 years of age as of January 19, 2024.  And candidates looking for uniformed positions have an upper age limit of 35 years. The age limit for various posts is illustrated below:
Non-Uniformed Post
Minimum age 21 years
Maximum age 40 years (Candidates should not have attained 40 years)

 

45 years – For Women (UR, PwD), Men, Women (SC, ST, OBC etc)

Uniformed-Post
Minimum age 21 years
Maximum age 33 years (Candidates should not have attained 33 years)

 

38 years – For Women (UR), Men, Women (SC, ST, OBC etc)

 
There are certain age relaxations as per the government rule which is as follows

MPPSC Eligibility- Educational Qualification 

Candidates applying for this exam should be graduates. Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply for this exam however they should be able to submit their final mark sheet during the MPPSC PSC Mains Exam Detailed Form Submission.
