Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts State Civil Services exam every year to recruit eligible and interested candidates for various posts. MPSC official notification defines definite eligibility criteria for candidates.

MPSC Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates should be between 19 to 38 years of age in order to be eligible for MPSC Exams. There is age relaxation provided to the candidates, the details of which are as follows:

MPSC Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

Candidates should have completed their graduation from a recognized state or university. Candidates in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply for the exam. Candidates should be efficient in Marathi.

The qualification for specific posts is as follows:

  • Assistant Director, Maharashtra Finance & Accounts Services: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/CA/Outlaw Accounting by ICWA/Post Graduate Degree in Commerce/MBA (Finance)
  • Deputy Director of Industry (Technical): Degree in Engineering in fields related to Civil, Architecture, Town Planning, etc./Degree in Science
  • Assistant Regional Transport Officer: Degree in Science or Engineering with Physics & Mathematics.

MPSC Eligibility Criteria: Physical Measurements

Candidates can refer to the official notification for post-wise details on physical measurements. However for the post of Dy Superintendent of Police, the minimum height for male candidates should be 165 cm and for female candidates, it should be 157cm.
