Important Question from chapter 2 : The World Population
Q-What are the three components of population change?
A- The three components of population change are:
- Crude Birth Rate (CBR): This statistic measures the number of live births per 1,000 people in a certain area each year.
- Crude Death Rate (CDR): This metric measures the number of fatalities per 1,000 people in a given area. Natural factors influencing population increase include CBR and CDR. They cause a natural increase in population that is equivalent to the distinction between CBR and CDR.
- The inducer of population expansion is migration. It is the quantity of people relocating to and from a location for various social, economic, and political reasons. It is considered while estimating the population's actual growth.
