Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released the notification for RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher exam. The candidates preparing for the exam must be aware of all the relevant details related to the examination. The RPSC notification contains essential details related to the eligibility, syllabus and exam pattern along with the salary for various posts. The candidates preparing for the exam must be aware of the RPSC 2nd Garde eligibility along with the other details related to the exam. The eligibility criteria for various posts is set by the Commission. The essential details related to the exam are as follows:

1. There are a total of 9000 + vacancies.
2. The application process for the exam is set to begin from 11 th April.
3. The eligibility for the posts is dependent on the subject that candidates apply for.
4. Teachers are recruited for a number of subjects like - Hindi, Urdu, maths, etc.

RPSC 2nd Grade Eligibility - Nationality

As per the official notification released by RPSC, candidates will be eligible to appear for the RPSC 2nd Grade Exam if they are:

• A Citizen of India

• A subject of Nepal

• A subject of Bhutan

• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settling in India

• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from any of the following countries: Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam for settling permanently in India.

RPSC 2nd Grade Eligibility - Age Limit 

As per the official notification, the candidates must be within the age limit of 18 to 40 years, The age limit as per the posts are mentioned below:
 

• Sr.Teacher - 18-35 years
• PTI - 18- 35 years
• Clerk - 18-35 years
• Assistant Prosecution Officer - 18-35 years
• Assistant Public Prosecutor - 21-35 years
• Group Instructor/ Surveyor/ Assistant Apprenticeship Advisor - 20-40 years
• Librarian - 21-40 years

There are relaxations in the age limit which are as follows:

RPSC Grade 2- Category	Age Relaxation
Domicile Males of SC, ST, OBC, and MBC	5 years
Domiciles Females of SC, St, OBC, and MBC	10 years
General females belonging to EWS	5 years
Divorced and destitute widows	No upper age limit
Differently-abled people from the general category	10 years
Differently-abled people from BC, OBC category	13 years
Differently-abled people form SC, ST category	15 years

RPSC Grade 2nd Eligibility - Educational Qualification

The educational qualifications for the various posts are as follows:
 

RPSC Grade 2 Post	Educational Qualification
Senior Teacher	Languages & Maths- A bachelor's degree in their concerned subject or must have a diploma in education from National Council for Teacher Education. Science- the applicants must have a bachelor's degree with two of the following subjects as optional: physics, botany, zoology, chemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, and biochemistry.
Senior Teacher (Sanskrit Edu)	one needs to pass the Shastri examination or its equivalents and must possess a diploma in education. Those applying for specific subjects need a degree with their specialized subject as one of the papers.
Senior Teacher (Special Education)	Along with a degree in their concerned subjects, the applicants also need a degree in education that specializes in special education.
Physical Training Instructor	The applicant must have a bachelor's degree in physical education from National Council for Teacher Education.
Clerk	Along with passing the senior secondary exam, the applicant must have a diploma in computer science or information technology.
Assistant Prosecution Officer	The applicant must have a degree in law from BCI Certified Colllege.
Assistant Public Prosecutor	A law degree from a university recognized under Advocates Act, 1961.
Group Instructor / Surveyor /Assistant Apprenticeship Advisor	The applicant must have passed senior secondary with physics, chemistry, and maths as necessary subjects. They should also have a diploma in engineering.
LIbrarian	The applicant must have a degree or diploma in library science.
