A candidate must be
- A Citizen Of India (or)
- A Citizen Of Nepal (or)
- A Citizen Of Bhutan (or)
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
RPSC Food Safety Officer Eligibility - Age Limit
- The minimum age limit to apply for the RPSC Food Safety is 21 years and the maximum is 40.
- Age relaxation for 5 years is applicable for the male candidates who belong to the ST/ST category possessing Rajasthan Domicile whereas 10 years of age relaxation is provided to the female candidates.
- Candidates who seek age relaxation can be asked to provide the necessary certificates at any stage of the recruitment process.

RPSC Food Safety Officer Eligibility - Educational Qualification
Educational qualification is the most essential for making an application. The detailed eligibility as per the educational qualification is listed below:
- RPSC Food Security Officer must possess a degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agriculture Science or Veterinary Science or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a degree in Medicine from a recognized university. Has successfully completed training under the supervision of an authorized Food Authority.
- Knowledge of Hindi language and Rajasthani Customs and Culture.
- There is no requirement for work experience in a specific field.
RPSC Food Safety Officer Eligibility - Number Of Attempts
The candidates who meet other eligibility details are not bared with number of candidates.
Hence there is no bar on number of attempts in the examination.
