- The candidates must be a citizen of India or
- Candidates belonging to other states can also apply for the RPSC RAS.

- The minimum age limit to apply for the RPSC RAS is 21 years and the maximum is 35.
- Age relaxation for 5 years is applicable for the male candidates who belong to the ST/ST category possessing Rajasthan Domicile whereas 10 years of age relaxation is provided to the female candidates.
