Sikkim TET Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens to be eligible to apply for Sikkim TET Exam. 

Sikkim TET Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit

Candidates between 21 to 35 years of age are eligible to apply for Sikkim TET Exam. There is relaxation in upper age limit given to candidates as per the government rules. 

Sikkim TET Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification

The required educational qualification for different posts are as follows:
Primary Teacher

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed in final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Elementary (Graduate) Teacher
 

B.A./B.Sc./ passed or appearing* in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.).

OR

B.A./B.Sc./ passed or appearing* in the final year 2 years Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing* in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed or appearing* in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
 

Sikkim TET Eligibility Criteria: Number of Attempts

There is no limit on the number of attempts for Sikkim TET Exam. Candidates can apply for the exam as many times as they want provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
