The syllabus for the written test consists of sections like Mathematics, Reasoning, General English/Hindi, and General Knowledge. The syllabus for these sections consists of various topics which are very prominent in exams.  The syllabus for head constables is mentioned below:

SSB Head Constable Exam Pattern 

The exam is conducted in three stages 

1. Written test
2. Physical Round 
3. Skill Test

SSB Head Constable Exam Pattern: Written Round 

This is a qualifying round for the physical test. The duration is 120 minutes or two hours and the maximum possible marks are 100. There is a provision for negative marking 1/4 th of marks will be deducted for the wrong answer. Cut-off will be declared by the board. Minimum Qualifying marks are 50% for General, and EWS, OBC, and 45% for SC /ST.

SSB Head Constable Exam Pattern: Physical Test

This has two parts physical measurements and physical efficiency test. The details are covered below.

Physical Efficiency Test

The details of physical efficiency test are as given below:

SSB Head Constable Exam Pattern: Skill Test 

The skill test is conducted before the final recruitment, there are no marks for this round. The requirements are as follows.
