SSC CHSL Exam: The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC CHSL Exam to recruit eligible and interested candidates for various posts. SSC CHSL 2022-23 Exam official notification was released on the Commission's website.

The last date to apply for the exam was 8 June 2023. SSC CHSL tier 1 exam was conducted from 02nd to 17th August 2023. Now the Commission has announced SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam dates. SSC CHSL 2023 Notification

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Official Notification for the SSC CHSL 2023 exam for the post of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Data Entry Operator(DEO) on 9 May 2023. The official notification can be downloaded by clicking on the link given below:

  • Upload your photograph and signature.
  • Pay the application fee online.
  • Finally, submit the application form.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern

There are 2 stages in this exam. The examination consists of Computer Based Exam (Tier –I) and Tier- II. 

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern: Tier I    

The first phase of the SSC CHSL exam is an online exam. Where candidates will have to secure marks more than a certain cutoff, to be eligible for other phases of the exam.

  1. Questions in Tier –I are objective type
  2. Each question carries 2 marks.
  3. The stipulated time for completion of Tier –I is one hour.
  4. SSC CHSL Tier –I is a bilingual exam, conducted in Hindi and English.
  5. In Tier I, there will be a negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.
