SSC JE Syllabus 2023

SSC JE Syllabus includes questions from Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, and the subject of candidates, etc. Candidates should know the SSC JE paper has two papers i.e Paper 1 and Paper 2.

SSC JE Syllabus: Paper 1


Paper 1 has three parts. Candidates are tested on General Intelligence and reasoning, General Awareness, and domain-specific subjects. The Paper is aimed at testing the general awareness of candidates along with concepts of engineering.

 1. General Intelligence & Reasoning

Questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc.The questions test  verbal and non-verbal reasoning capability,they also test the arithematical skills and problem solving attitude.

2. General Awareness

 Static -The test may also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research, etc. the These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline
Current events - questions are aimed at testing the understanding and awareness of current events.

SSC JE Syllabus: Paper-2

Paper 2 is entirely based on engineering subject. Candidates are suppose to have detailed knowledge of their subjects.
