The UGC NET Examination is being conducted by the National Testing Agency. The Phase II of the UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 cycle is being conducted till 14 October 2022. NTA will release the UGC NET result and cut off after all the exams are conducted. All those who have appeared for the exam can check the previous year cut offs to know the expected cut off trend for this year. The cut off will be announced on the official website of NTA.

UGC NET Cut Off 


The NET Cut-Off is a released subject wise and the candidates must keep an eye on the trends in their respective subjects.  As per the rules, the cut-off is declared category-wise. The expected cut-off for the NET Exam will be updated here as and when the exams are over. UGC NET Minimum Qualifying Marks 


The candidates must score the least percentage of marks in order to get considered in the examination. The minimum marks  based on the rules set by UGC are as follows:

  1.  To prepare for net the candidates must keep some basic things in mind:
  2. Know the syllabus and exam pattern well in advance.
  3. Limit your resource to the best books for the UGC NET Examination.
  4. Make a proper plan and give sufficient weightage to each section.
  5. Give a good number of mock test.
  6. Revise a lot with short notes.

What is the minimum qualifying marks in the NET Exam?

As Per the UGC NET cut off 2022 Notice, the minimum qualifying mark for the general category is 40% whereas for the reserved category is 35%.
