UPSC CMS 2022 Eligibility: Age Limit
A candidate must not be older than 32 years old as of August 1, 2022, i.e.
the candidate must have been born no earlier than August 2, 1989.
The upper age restriction for Junior Time Scale Posts in Central Health Services must not exceed 35 (thirty-five years) on the aforementioned cut-off date.

UPSC CMS 2022 Eligibility: Educational Qualification
- A candidate must have passed both the written and practical components of the final MBBS examination in order to be admitted to the test.
- A candidate who has taken or is about to take the final MBBS test may also apply.
Such candidates will be admitted to the exam if otherwise eligible, but their admission will be deemed provisional and subject to cancellation if they do not produce proof of passing the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Exam, as well as the detailed application that will be required to be submitted to the Commission by candidates who qualify based on the written examination results.
- An applicant who has not yet finished the mandatory rotating internship is educationally eligible for admission to the examination, but if chosen, he or she will be hired only after completing the mandatory rotating internship.
UPSC CMS Eligibility Criteria 2022: Nationality
The candidates listed below will be eligible to take the UPSC CMS 2022 Exam:
- A Citizen of India
- A subject of Bhutan
- A subject of Nepal
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
- An Indian origin person who came to India with the intention of permanently settling in India from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia, Zaire or Vietnam.
