WB Police Constable Exam Pattern
The exam consists of 3 Papers and a Physical Test.
The papers are
- Written Screening test
- Final Combined Written examination
The Final Written examination consists of :
- Paper 1 - Similar to phase 1
- Paper 2- English
- Paper 3 - Bengali/ Hindi / Urdu / Nepali
Phase 1 is to be completed in 90 minutes
For the final written examination, the time duration is as follows.
- Paper 1 - 2 hours
- Paper 2- English - 1 hour
- Paper 3 - Bengali/ Hindi / Urdu / Nepali- 1 hour

Phase 1 - Written Round
This is a qualifying round for the physical test.
The duration is 90 minutes and the maximum possible marks are 100.
There is a provision for negative marking 1/4 th of marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
Cut-off will be declared by the board.
