WB Police SI Exam Pattern
Candidates appearing for the WB SI Exam should be aware of the exam pattern as it will give them an idea about the marking scheme of the exam, distribution of questions and marks, and duration of the exam. You can prepare better after getting a thorough idea of the WB Police SI exam pattern. There are four stages in the selection procedure:- Preliminary Exam
- PET/PST
- Final Competitive Exam
- Personality Test
WB Police SI Exam Pattern: Preliminary Exam
- This is a screening test.
- A total of 200 questions are asked.
- Questions are objective.
- Each question carries two marks.
- There is a negative marking and 1/4 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.
- The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.

WB Police SI Exam Pattern: Final Competitive Examination
There are three papers.Paper I is set in three languages- Hindi, English, and Bengali.
