Understanding the NDA Exam:

The National Defense Academy Exam (NDA Exam) is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Its purpose is to select the most qualified individuals to join the Indian Armed Forces as officers. Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who wish to take the NDA exam must meet the following eligibility requirements:
• Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
• Age Limit: The candidate must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years of age.
• Educational Qualifications: Candidates applying for the Army Wing of the NDA are required to have successfully completed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent. On the other hand, candidates aspiring to join the Air Force and Naval Wings must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
