List of Easiest Government Exams to Crack 2023

1. RRB Group D:

This is the first among the top five easiest government jobs that recruit candidates for Railway’s Group D vacancies like Cabinman, Fitter, Helper, Gangman, etc. This exam consists of only two stages i.e. written test and a physical efficiency test. The best part is that there is no personal interview part in this exam to worry about.
Also, the written examination is of class 10th level which you can easily prepare with class 10th NCERT books. The written exam has four stages i.e. General English, General Intelligence, Numerical Ability, and General Awareness for a total of 100 marks. The time duration of the exam is 90 minutes. Also, the initial salary for the Group D vacancy is Rs.18, 000 and also has house rent allowance, overtime allowance, and dearness allowances.

2. SSC CHSL:

This exam is second on the list of the top 5 easiest government exams. This exam is conducted by the SSC (Staff Selection Commission) for the recruitment of vacancies like data entry operators, lower divisional clerks, Postal Assistants, and other employees for various ministries/departments of the Government of India.
This examination has three stages i.e. Computer-based test, written test, and skill test. Moreover, the written test consists of simple questions from general English, numerical ability, general intelligence, and general awareness. The salary package for the candidate who qualified for the exam is Rs.36, 000. This is the initial salary as after five years he/she would move to the next level of hierarchy after five years of service.

3. SSC Stenographer:

This is the third easiest government exam to crack in India. It is also conducted by the SSC (Staff Selection Commission) for the recruitment of stenographers of Grades C and Grade D. This exam consists of two stages i.e. computer-based test and a skill test. The computer-based test is of a total 120 minutes duration with a total marks of 200. Generally, the questions asked in the exam are from General Intelligence, General Awareness, and English language.
This job also has an attractive package of Rs.34,000 and other advantages like less work and pressure. After the promotion, a stenographer can be a Principal Private Secretary.

4. Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET):

CTET is number 4 on the list and it is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. This exam is for the recruitment of teachers and the score and certificate of this exam are valid for 7 years. The candidates who successfully qualified for this exam can apply to the central government school, Kendriya Vidyalayas.
This exam consists of two papers, paper 1 is for teaching in class 1 to 5, and paper 2 is for teaching in class 6 to class 8. Moreover, paper 1 is of 150 minutes and 150 marks. 5. RRB NTPC:

Last but not least the fifth easiest government exam in India is RRB NTPC. This exam is for the recruitment of non-technical persons in railways. There are a total of four stages in this exam. The 1st and 2nd are computer-based tests. The 3rd stage is the skill test and the 4th stage is document verification and medical check-up. Stage 1 is 90 minutes with a total of 100 questions on general intelligence, numerical ability, and general awareness. Stage 2 consists of 120 questions for a total of 90 minutes. The question is related to general intelligence, numerical ability, and general awareness. The initial salary for the candidate selected is approx. Rs.19,900. It also includes other allowances like house rent allowances (HRA) and Dearness Allowances. Hence, the in-hand salary reaches Rs.33,000 to Rs.40,000.
