Indian weightlifter Notched Up Gold At EGAT Cup

World champion Indian weightlifter Saikhom Mirabai Chanu notched up a gold medal at the EGAT Cup in Thailand. The 24-year-old Manipuri was out of action for more than half of 2018 due to lower back injury. This is a strong comeback for her.
               Saikhom Mirabai Chanu has won the 48kg category gold with an effort of 192 kg in the silver level Olympic qualifying event. Chanu has lifted 82 kg in snatch and 110 kg in clean and jerk to finish on top.

Advani Clinched Another Senior National Snooker Title

Pankaj Advani Claimed another Senior National Snooker title with a phenomenal win over Laxman Rawat by 6-0 in the final at Indore. With this victory over gold, Advani has clinched total of 32 Indian championships. 
                After winning 11 National titles as a junior,  as a senior, Advani has won nine billiards, three six-red snooker and now nine snooker gold medals. From the statistical point of view, Pankaj Advani now has 21 national titles and 21 world titles as a men’s player in both snooker and billiards.

HINDI to be The Third official language in Abu Dhabi Court

Abu Dhabi has decided to include Hindi as the third official court language, besides Arabic and English. The purpose of this step is to provide better access to justice without the obstruction of language.
                Our West Asia correspondent reported that the estimated 3.3 million Indian expats live in UAE, and there are a large number of blue collared workers among them.

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated PETROTECH-2019 in Greater Noida
The Prime Minister has inaugurated the PETROTECH - 2019 at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. PETROTECH-2019 is the 13th International Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition being organised by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India. According to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, India is the third largest consumer of crude oil and petroleum products and the government has taken several measures to provide energy to all for the same.  
                 With exclusive areas on the Make in India and Renewable Energy theme, the exhibition will have over 13 country pavilions and around 750 exhibitors from over 40 countries.
