Sushil Chandra, New Election Commissioner for 2019 Polls

Sushil Chandra, currently chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), has been appointed as the new election commissioner of India. He would be working along with Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora and Election Commissioner Ashok Lavasa in the Election Commission. The Lok Sabha elections in April-May will be Chandra's first assignment as an election commissioner.
                 Sushil Chandra is a 1980 batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) Officer. In the IRS service, He has been rendered his service in various states including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Gujarat and Maharashtra. Chandra has the expertise of working extensively in the areas of international taxation and investigation at various places.


India extrude Pakistan From MFN

After the biggest terrorist attack on Thursday in Pulwama District of Jammu and Kashmir in which 40 CRPF personnel died India took a big decision and withdrawn the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status which he had granted to Pakistan. The decision was taken by the Cabinet Committee on Security Meeting held in New Delhi after the Pulwama Attack.
                   The 320 kg explosive- carried in a car was used in the attack. While taking the first action on Pakistan, the Narendra Modi government of the Centre has seized the status of the Most Favored Nation. Along with this, the exercise of separation of Pakistan from the world map has begun.


India's First Woman Flight Engineer Inducted By IAF

After completing the six-month flight engineering course from the 112 Helicopter Unit attached to the Air Force Station in Yelahanka in Bengaluru, Hina Jaiswal becomes the First Indian Woman Flight Engineer. Hina has served as Chief of firing team and battery commander in a frontline Surface to Air Missile squadron, before being selected for the prestigious Flight Engineers’ Course. 
                  Hina Jaiswal hails from Chandigarh and has completed her Bachelor of Engineering degree from Panjab University. She was commissioned in the engineering batch of the IAF on January 5, 2015. According to a Press release by the Defence, Hina will now be posted to a helicopter squadron where she will monitor and operate IAF’s complex aircraft in various conditions, including the Siachen Glacier and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
