CAPF AC 2021 is an exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year for the post of Assistant Commandant in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
Assistant Commandant rank is equivalent to the ranks of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Captain in the Indian Army.
This rank is a Group-A gazetted officer rank in the Central Armed Police Forces.

UPSC CAPF Syllabus 2021
Paper-I- It tests the General Ability and Intelligence of the candidate.

CAPF Syllabus Paper II
The CAPF Syllabus for paper-II covers General Studies, Essay and Comprehension which has a weightage of 200 marks in total.
CAPF (AC) Syllabus for Paper II is divided into two parts:
Part‐A – Totals marks 80- comprises essay questions. Candidates have to answer the questions in narrative form, they can answer it either in Hindi or in English.
Some of the topics asked in UPSC AC Exam essays on analytical ability, knowledge of security and human rights issues, basics of geography, polity, modern Indian history, freedom struggle, economy, etc.
Part‐B – Total marks 120- covering questions related to comprehension, precis writing and other communication or language skills.
Part II must be attempted only in English.
