atomic mass unit carbon ke kitneve number bhaag ko kehte hai
The isotpe of carbon with 6 neutrons (It has 6 protons which define it as carbon) has an AMU of 12 by definition. AMU was originally defined as 1 for hydrogen 1, but since most of chemistry which uses AMU is based on carbon, the AMU was redefined as 12.000…. for carbon 12. The mole weight in tables will not be exactly 12 grams because there is a small amount of carbon 13 and a trace of 14 in natural carbon.
