State Bank of India Probationary Officer Exam is an exam conducted by Central Recruitment Board for the recruitment of aspiring candidate as PO in SBI.
A notification has been released about the preliminary exam and the exam is going to be conducted in the first week of July. The eligible candidate who is willing to sit for the exam, safalta brings you some of the tips that will help you to pass the exam at one go. Some of the tips are as follows:
Know the Exam Pattern: First of all, a candidate needs to know about the updated question pattern and its syllabus in order to score good marks in the preliminary exam.
for e.g- There will be 3 different sections in the question paper. You have to prepare all the important topics of each subject.
Keep a deep knowledge of the subject and important topics: Before starting your preparation for the exam you must know about the list of important topics for the exam. Make a study plan according to the important topics.
Go through the previous years question paper: Go through the previous year question and try to solve it. This will improve your understanding and knowledge of the subject and will get an idea of the examination pattern.
Strengthen your weak areas: Prepare a list of subject and its area where you are lacking behind and try to solve the question from that area. This will improve your skill and knowledge in a particular area where you are lacking behind. Try to give equal attention to the subject and areas you are perfect at. Try to devote more time to the areas you think is hard for you. Also practice the question and topics you think you are good, make yourself a master in it and you can achieve maximum marks in prelims exam.
Enhance your speed and accuracy: Regularly keep a practice of questions. While practising the questions keep an eye on your speed and accuracy. Set a time and try to solve maximum questions in the given time bound. By doing this it will enhance your speed and accuracy skill and you will never run out of time in the examination hall.
Make a proper timetable: Make a proper timetable and devote efficient time to each section. Make a weekly plan of study according to subjects. This will help you in making strategies, how to attempt the maximum question in given time bound.
Practice mock tests: Try to practice mock test, this will help you in enhancing your skills and you will get to know about the silly mistakes you are doing while doing the questions. This will help you to enhance your knowledge regarding the question pattern and will show you the way, how to do well in the prelim exam.
Formulate exam strategy: By doing the above-stated task, you get the entire idea about every aspect of examination, now what you have to do is to formulate a strategy as of how to do secure good marks in the exam. So firstly divide the time according to the subject and the sections of the question paper, then formulate an idea as of how to attempt the question quickly so that you can attempt maximum questions. Try to attempt the sections you know well this will help you to score maximum marks and will help you to save your time.
