Time is in your hand
•    Always keep in mind, the time allotted to each section of the exam. Total time allotted to complete the exam is 3 hours, each sections carries its own time frame.
•    You have 60 minutes to solve Reasoning & Computer Aptitude.
•    Along with that, you get 45 minutes to solve Data Analysis & Interpretation.
•    Whereas you have 35 minutes for General Awareness questions.
•    40 minutes are allotted to the English section.

Do not forget the Negative Marking!
•    There is no compulsion that you should solve each and every question in the SBI PO Mains. Nobody can solve every question without making any mistake.
•    In such a tense environment of the exam, you tend to make mistakes.
•    Do not forget about the 1/4th negative marking.
•    Thus, while solving the questions, give more time to the questions that you are familiar with & solve them perfectly to ensure full marks.

Time Management Tips for Reasoning Section
•    This section has the most time allotted in the Mains Exam.
•    The Reasoning Section is also the most time consuming & tricky, hence you need to solve the questions wisely.
•    Solve easier questions first which will be solved in lesser time.
•    Use that extra time to solve the questions that you feel are difficult.
•    Topics like Double Line up, Machine Input Output, Verbal Reasoning, Puzzles & Arrangement carry maximum weightage. Practice them beforehand.

Topics to focus:- Seating Arrangements, Input-Output, Coding and decoding, Inequalities, Blood Relation, Syllogism, Puzzles (Floor Based, Row & Order Based), Data Sufficiency, Decision Making and Problem Solving, Statement & Conclusion type questions.

Time Management Tips for Data Analysis & Interpretation
•    This section also carries 60 marks but you have to solve this in 45 minutes.
•    Try to steer clear of lengthy calculations that require you to give all your time to that one question.
•    Pie Chart, Tabular Graph, Line Graph, Missing Case DI are the topics that carry maximum weightage.
•    Also, revise your formula prior to the exam.

Topics to focus :- Decimal and Fractions, Profit and Loss, Time and distance, Simplification, Number Series, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Data Sufficiency, Interest (Simple and Compound), Averages, Problems on Sharing, Frequency polygon, Bar-diagram, , Table Chart, Missing Data Interpretation, Pie-chart, Radar Chart.

Time Management Tips for General Awareness
•    This section has been allotted 35 minutes.
•    If your basics are strong, then you can finish this section beforehand.
•    Properly read each Qs & then answer it. You have enough time to answer this section. So utilize it in a positive way.
•    Concentrate on Banking & Financial Awareness Sections. Most questions come from that section.

Topics to focus: Financial/Banking Awareness, Current Affairs, General Knowledge/Static Awareness, 

Time Management Tips for English
•    English Section tests your knowledge of grammar, vocabulary and your overall hold over English Language.
•    You have 40 minutes to solve the questions in English section.
•    Focus on Reading Comprehension as it will be a bit time consuming & tricky.
•    If you have practiced then this will not be an issue.

Topics to focus:- Spotting error, Sentence Improvement, Fill in the Blanks, Para jumbles, Cloze Passage, Comprehension Passage and questions based on vocabulary.
