  • For Class X:

After the declaration of result, students need to analyse their marks. Take out the average of last four-years marks of every subject. Students need to keep their family background in mind. You will be having many options: such as physics and chemistry with maths or biology; commerce; arts/humanities, agriculture and more according to the school.

Sometimes it depends if a student has already decided or eager about a particular discipline which should be considered. The decision can also be taken on the basis of interest, eligibility and ability.

  • For Class XII:

The battle of decision between college and course remains the question. The students who are very well aware of their interest, aptitude and capacity don’t take much time to take any decisions. While pursuing course the priority of every aspirant should depend upon their interest. The right decision can lead to success in the career.
The student should take their decisions as per their strengths and weaknesses. If a student can do certain subjects according to his/her interests, then it is always better to opt for the course accordingly. The confusion of a student can be resolved by providing a few counselling sessions and a few orientation programmes. Students should also reach out to their teachers and career counsellors to make a decision.
