HTET Exam 2018 Introduction

Haryana Board of School Education conducts the HTET Exam for TGT, PGT and PRT teachers in the state of Haryana. To get a teaching job in the state, clearing the TET Exam is mandatory. The test is conducted annually and it is a qualifying nature exam. Lakhs of eligible students appear for the exam every year and qualify for primary teaching jobs in the state of Haryana.

HTET Exam 2018 Notification

Board has not released any official notification regarding HTET Exam 2018 yet. The board is expected to soon release the official notification for Primary Teacher Level 1 Exam on its official website. The link to download the official notification will be made available on safalta education portal also. All details regarding the exam will be mentioned in the notification.

HTET Exam 2018 Application Fee

The application fee for HTET Exam varies according to the category of students. Details are mentioned below:

HTET Exam 2018 Important Dates

The official notification of Haryana TET Exam 2018 has not been released yet and hence, no official dates regarding the exam are confirmed. It is suggested by the sources that the exam dates will be released very soon.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT AND PEDAGOGY

1) Child Development (Primary School Child)

  • Concept of development and its relationship with learning 
  • Principles of the development of children 
  • Influence of Heredity & Environment 
  • Socialization processes: Social world & children (Teacher, Parents, Peers) 
  • Piaget, Kohlberg and Vygotsky: constructs and critical perspectives 
  • Concepts of child-centered and progressive education 
  • Critical perspective of the construct of Intelligence 
  • Multi Dimensional Intelligence Language & Thought 
  • Gender as a social construct; gender roles, gender-bias and educational practice 
  • Individual differences among learners, understanding differences based on diversity of language, caste, gender, community, religion etc.

HTET Exam 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must go through the detailed eligibility criteria before applying for the Primary Teacher Level 1 Exam.
Educational Qualification:
Senior Secondary or equivalent with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)/ 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education/ 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
No. of Attempts: Candidates can apply as many times as they want for the Test as number of attempts are not restricted.

How to Apply HTET Exam 2018

Candidates will be allowed to apply for the HTET Exam 2018 once the official notification for the same will be published. The link to apply for the Test will be available on the official website of Haryana Board of School Education. The candidates would also find the direct link to apply for the Primary Teacher Level 1 Exam 2018 on safalta education portal.

Admit Card HTET Exam 2018

The HTET Exam 2018 Admit Card will be released on the official website of Haryana Board of School Education one or two weeks before the exam. The exam dates are not released yet and are expected to be released soon. The link to download Admit Card will become live on the official website as well as safalta education portal.

Result HTET Exam 2018

The board will release the HTET Exam Result 2018 after the commencement of exam. The result will be published in pdf format and the candidates will have to check their roll number from the list of successful candidates. Candidates can also check their result from safalta education portal as well.
