Criteria for Selection as a BOI Officer in 2022

Educational Background:

There are 594 posts in the regular category.

• Credit Officers - A Bachelor's degree (Graduation) in any field with at least 60% marks and an "MBA/PGDBM/PGDM/PGBM/ PGDBA with a specialty in Finance / Banking and Finance from a reputable institute (two/three-year program)" are required. / A post-graduate degree in commerce, science, or economics is required. OR a CA, ICWA, or CS degree. A least three-month computer course certification OR Information Technology or a related paper as one of the courses at the undergraduate level or later is required.
• Economist - Economics / Econometrics post-graduate degree
• Full-time Master's / Post-Graduate Degree in Statistics / Applied Statistics Statistician
• Risk Manager - Global Association of Risk (GARP) Financial Risk Management Certification OR PRIMA Institute Professional Risk Management Certification OR Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute OR CA / ICWA OR Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certificate/ Diploma of Information Systems Auditor (DISA) from ICIA/ISACA
• Credit Analyst - Full-time MBA in Finance/PGDM in Finance/CA/ICWA for two years.
• BE in concerned streams OR a bachelor's degree in engineering plus a master's or post-graduate diploma in concerned streams.
• BE/B.Tech in CSE/ IT/ E&C with minimum 60% marks) OR First Division (minimum 60% marks) in MCA/M.Sc(IT) from a recognised university/institute.

• Economists must have a minimum of four years of experience.
• A minimum of four years of experience as a statistician is required.
• Risk Manager with a minimum of three years experience.
• Minimum of ten years experience as a credit analyst.
• Appraisal of technology - 3 years minimum.
• 2 years of experience as an IT officer is required.
• Manager with a minimum of 7 years experience is required.
• Sr Manager - Minimum of 8 years experience

Age Restrictions:

• Credit Officers - 20 to 30 years of experience
• Economist (28-35 years old)
• 28 to 35 years as a statistician
• Risk Manager (28-35 years old)
• 53 years as a credit analyst
• Appraisal of Technology - 25 to 35 Years
• Officer of Information Technology (IT) - 20 to 30 years
• 25 to 35 years of experience as a manager
• 25 to 37 years as a senior manager

Process of Selection

Depending on the number of applicants/eligible candidates, applicants will be summoned for an online exam, GD, and/or personal interview.

Candidates can apply online in three phases from April 26 to May 10, 2022:
