- Department/School (For Associate Professor and Professor): Biosciences and Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Design, Electronics, and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Humanities, and social sciences and, School of Agro and Rural Technology.
- The school (only for Associate Professors): Mehta Family school of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (MFSDS & AI), School of Energy Science and Engineering, School of Health Science and Technology.
IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- As per GOI Rules.
- SC/ST: 05 Years
- OBC-NCL: 03 Years
- PwD: 05 Years (10 Years for SC/ST and 8 years for OBC candidates)
- Associate Professor: A minimum of 06 years of teaching/ research/ industrial experience of which at least 03 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor, Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.
- Professor: A minimum of 10 years of experience of which at least 04 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISC Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai, and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution/ Institutions of comparable standards.
