Eligibility
Air Force (Gender)
- Indian Air Force Recruitment 2022 is only open to single male citizens of India.
Education Requirements
- Passed a three-year, government-recognized diploma program in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronic, automotive, computer science, instrumentation technology, or information technology) with a minimum overall grade point average of 50% and a minimum English grade point average of 50% (or 50% in intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in the diploma program).
- Passed two years of vocational school with non-vocational subjects like math and physics from state education boards or councils are mentioned in COBSE with a minimum of 50% overall and 50% in English (or intermediate/matriculation if English isn't a topic in the vocational school).
(b) Subjects Other Than Science: Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination in any subject recognized by Central/State Education Boards and identified as a COBSE Member with a minimum of 50% overall and 50% in English.

Maximum Age
- To be eligible, applicants must have been born between December 29, 1999, and June 29, 2005, both inclusive.
- If a candidate successfully completes all phases of the selection process, the maximum age as of the start date of enrollment must be 23 years.

Phase 3: A Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) at stage three (PMT)

Air Force Fitness Exam
A 1.6 km run must be finished in 06 minutes, 30 seconds for the physical fitness test (PFT). To qualify for the physical fitness test, candidates must additionally do 10 pushups, 10 situps, and 20 squats in the allotted time.I and II Air Force Adaptability Tests
Adaptability Test-I (objective type written test) is required of all candidates who pass the Physical Fitness Test (PFT). Its purpose is to determine whether a candidate is qualified to work for the Indian Air Force (IAF), which requires deployment in a variety of geographic terrain, weather, and operational conditions.Adaptability Test-II: According to current policy, all candidates who pass Adaptability Test-I must also take Adaptability Test-II. The purpose of the Adaptability Test-II is to identify applicants who can adapt to the Indian Air Force's environment and can live a military lifestyle.
Mandatory Medical Standards for the Air Force

Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) | Not Acceptable |
Hearing | The candidate should be able to hear normally or be able to distinguish a forced whisper at a distance of six meters with each ear. |
Dental | Should has healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points. |
General Health |
The applicant must have normal anatomy and no appendages missing.
He should be free of any skin conditions, infections, acute or chronic medical conditions, latent or active, acute or chronic, or surgical disabilities. |
