Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms) | The candidate should have passed class 10th with a minimum of 45% in aggregate and 33% in each subject. |
Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms) | The candidate must have passed the 12th class in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. Or, The candidate must have passed class 12th from recognized Central Board or State Education Board to include NIOS and ITI course of a minimum of 1 year in the required field with NSQF level 4 or above. |

Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper (Technical) (All Arms) | The candidate must have passed 12th in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with a minimum of 60% marks and a minimum of 50% marks in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/BookKeeping in Class XII is mandatory. |
Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 10th Pass | The candidate must have passed class 10th. No stipulation in aggregate percentage, but must have scored 33% in each subject. |

Shortlisted applicants for Agniveer in the Armed Forces would be offered a financial package of Rs. 4.75 lacs for the first year, which will be increased to about Rs. 6.92 lacs in the fourth year. Aside from the annual payment, candidates will be given allowances such as risk and hardship, ration, dress, and travel allowances.
Seva Nidhi: The Seva Nidhi package costs around Rs 11.71 lakh, which includes (Including, interest accumulated on the above amount as per the applicable interest rates would also be paid). Individuals will contribute 30% of their monthly earnings, while the government will contribute an equivalent amount.
Death Compensation: A non-contributory life insurance policy of Rs 48 lakhs, with an extra Ex. Gratia of Rs 44 lakh for death attributed to a cause other than suicide.
