- The candidate should have passed class 12th with at least 45% marks.
- Candidates should have done a Diploma in Education or B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) or have completed other prescribed teacher training programs/courses.
- Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- There is no upper age limit for CTET and various TET exams.
