JRF: 31 for general, 36 for SC/ST
Assistant Professor: No age limit

  • Ph.D. degree holder: 5% marks relaxation is provided for candidates who have completed the PG program before September 19, 1991

The validity of the UGC NET score for Junior Research Fellowship is three years from the date of issuance, while for Assistant Professorship, it is valid indefinitely. This means that Assistant Professorship candidates will have lifelong valid UGC NET scores, whereas JRF scores are only valid for three years.

The UGC-NET official website will release the admit card for both sessions a week before the exam. To get your UGC NET Admit Card 2024, you must have your application number and password. Follow the steps below to download the UGC NET 2024 Admit Card.
