RRB ALP Exam Introduction

Railway recruitment board conducts the recruitment exam for the post of Technicians and Assistant Loco Pilot. Candidates can apply for both Technician and ALP posts through a single application. All other important details regarding the exam are mentioned below.

RRB ALP Exam 2019 Notification

Railway recruitment board has released the official notification for recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician posts. Candidates who are looking forward to appearing for the written exam can apply for the examination online. RRB ALP Exam 2019 Application Fee

Rs. 500/- for all candidates falling under unreserved category.        

Rs. 250/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/Female/Minorities/Economically backward class.

The Government has declared that the application fee of Rs. 400/- will be refunded for Unreserved Candidates appearing for Railway Recruitment Exam and the complete exam fee of Rs. 250/- will be refunded for candidates belonging to reserved category.

RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2019

RRB ALP & Technicians recruitment exam consists of 4 stages:

1. First stage CBT

2. Second stage CBT

3. Computer-Based Aptitude Test

4. Document Verification

 

First Stage CBT:

Four subjects are asked in the exam with a composite time of 60 minutes. Total number of questions asked is 75. Subjects asked in the exam are:

Mathematics

General Intelligence & Reasoning

General Science

General Awareness on Current Affairs

 

Second Stage CBT:

It consists of two parts. The part I is the same as the first stage CBT and part II exam is conducted for relevant trade only.

No. of questions asked in the part II exam is 7 and the total allowed time is 60 minutes.

 

Aptitude Test

An aptitude test is conducted as the third stage of the recruitment process.

 

Documents Verification

Final selection is done only after the documents verification. If any document found missed or irrelevant, the selection of the candidate can be barred. 

Admit Card RRB ALP Exam 2019

The Railway Recruitment Board releases the Admit Card for the Computer Based Exam one week prior to the exam. The admit card for second stage CBT will be released for those candidates only who will clear the Stage I Exam successfully.

RRB ALP Exam Result 2019

The final result will be released by the Railway Recruitment Board after the commencement of the Computer Based Exam. The result will be made available on the official website of the recruitment board. The Cut-Off score is based on the category of student and the post offered. The RRB ALP & Technician Recruitment Exam Result 2018 is expected to be released in March 2019.
