Ambedkar, etc. put in a lot of unselfish work to make it happen. They had to give up a lot to be free from British authority because they cared deeply about the nation and its citizens. Short Independence Day article

Every Indian is reminded on Independence Day of the commencement of a new era and a new existence free from slavery and bondage. The same reason that Independence Day is celebrated so formally and with such a sense of grandeur across the nation. The democratic republic began on August 15, 1947, signalling the end of British colonialism. The British Parliament approved the Indian Independence Bill, which was a crucial step on the road to freedom. Jawaharlal Nehru was the one who announced India's independence and took the oath of office as its first prime minister. India gained its independence as a result of the nonviolent freedom fighters' persistent and relentless years-long efforts. In India, people commemorate and observe Independence Day as a religious holiday to honour the country's struggle for independence.

The grandest of celebrations take place in New Delhi, the Indian capital. There have been remarkable preparations for today. On the eve of Independence Day, the prime minister would deliver the Address to the Nation. The day's activities begin with the raising of the American flag, which is followed by the National Anthem and 21 honorary gunshots. The Prime Minister then makes a speech about our forebears' struggles and accomplishments, who are the reason our independent nation exists.
Next comes the Independence Day Fair. This is a combination of different activities, including an army parade and a display of the cultures, customs, and specialities of the various Indian states. It is an opportunity that shouldn't be passed up. Everyone in the nation experiences the celebrations firsthand, via television or social media, and is overcome with pride and joy at being an Indian citizen.
