Did you know that a current-carrying conductor would experience a force in a magnetic field? It is also known as emf or electromagnetic force. This property forms the basis of all modern electric motors and generators.

As a result, both laws still mention a link between the magnetic field and the force. Where the direction of the other two borders is known, these rules imply the direction rather than the magnitude of any of these parameters.
Fleming's Left-Handed Rule is applicable to electric motors, whereas Fleming's Right-Handed Rule is applicable to electric generators. Let's know about each concept in detail.

Concept of Fleming’s Right Hand Rule
Concept of Fleming’s Left Hand Rule
When a current-carrying conductor is placed inside a magnetic field, a force is applied to it in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the magnetic field and current. It is most useful for determining the force's direction.
It is stated as follows:
The forefinger, middle finger, and thumb of your left hand should all be at a right angle (90 degrees) to one another and point in the same general direction.
- Pointing with the forefinger, the magnetic field is shown.
- Middle finger pointing in the direction of movement
- Thumb pointing in the force's direction

Concept of Fleming’s Right Hand Rule
When a conductor is put inside a magnetic field, Faraday's law for the introduction of electromagnetic induction says that the current induction will work on it. If the conductor is forcefully pushed into the magnetic field, there will be a link between the direction of the applied force, the magnetic field, and the current. The link between these three methods is established by Fleming's right-hand rule.
It reads as follows:
"The right thumb, middle finger, and finger should be parallel to one another. If the front finger points to the magnetic field and the thumb points in the direction of conductor movement, the middle finger will point toward the emf (or current)."
