Science Olympiad foundation is responsible for conducting International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO). Students from classes 1 to 10 are welcome to participate in this Olympiad exam.

The syllabus for the IGKO exam is based on CBSE, ICSE, and the state board. The platform is a brilliant way to enhance skills, general awareness, and current affairs. The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) conducts IGKO and is responsible for the result announcement. Winners are awarded rewards.

The results of the International General Knowledge Olympiad exams are announced within a week after the exam. The conducting body gives the results to the appropriate schools. From the schools, the results reach the participated candidates. Students can also download the results from the official website of SOF. 

The required details for the exam are the school name and candidates' roll number. The order for entering data – 

  • Roll number
  • School code
  • Class
  • Section

Steps to download the IGKO exam results 2022-2023

  • Visit the official website.
  • Candidates should elect the exam i.e., IGKO 
  • Enter your roll number.
  • Reliable, accurate, and comprehensive results will display on your screen.
  • The results will contain the student’s name, parent’s name, registration number, total marks, and rank at school, zonal and international levels.
  • The winner's rewards are also displayed on the result tab.
  • The school name and address are already available to make the process easy.

The expenditure on the exam (rewards and scholarships) is around 16 crores every year. It is managed by SOF. The ranks are decided on the basis of school level, zonal level, and international level.
