The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is held every year. Interested candidates can register themselves for the IMO through their schools as SOF encourages participation from schools than individual participation. If your school is a part of the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), it is well and good. You can easily register yourself. However, if your school isn’t a part of SOF, it can do so by mailing or making a phone call. The International Mathematical Olympiad syllabus is designed in such as way that it identifies and encourage candidates who have a great flair for math subject.
Each class's Mathematics Olympiad Syllabus is broken up into four sections, each of which includes topics and ideas that are perfectly suited to the Syllabus and student comprehension.
There are four sections in the IMO Syllabus:
Logical reasoning
Mathematical reasoning
Everyday Mathematics
Portion for Achiever Students is graded on their foundational mathematics abilities in this section. Since the fundamental ideas are present in this section, students should be familiar with the material beforehand in order to respond more intelligently to varied inquiries.
