The National Science Olympiad (NSO) is a National level olympiad exam organized by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) every year.
It aims at identifying, improving, and celebrating scientific skills among young students.
As SOF is the organizing body of NSO, the same institution has the responsibility of releasing the NSO Exam 2022-2023.
Generally, the results are declared 15 days after the exam dates.
All participating candidates receive their results for National Science Olympiad Exam.
The results are dispatched to the respective schools.
However, students can also view their results on the official website of the Science Olympiad Foundation.
Below are the steps you can follow to check your results.
The Expected date for NSO Exam results 2022-2023 (level 1) is the last week of December.
Additionally, level 2 exam results may be released on March 2023. The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) declares the result of the NSO exams.
The declaration of the results is usually done after the 2 weeks of the exams.
The SOF sends the results to participating schools along with releasing them on the official website of SOF.
The result of the National Science Olympiad level 1 exam may come out in the last week of December.
However, the level 2 result of the NSO exam is expected to be declared in March.

If in the National Science Olympiad results, two or more students get the same number, the student with higher marks in the section with utmost advanced priority will be given a higher rank.

The NSO Olympiad is a popular Olympiad in our country, conducted under the supervision of the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF).
The exam pattern is conducted annually for the students of classes 1st -12th.
The Olympiad aims to boost the knowledge of the students in science and to help them self-access their strength in the science field.
The detailed SPR (Student Performance Report) makes National Science Olympiad unique among other Olympiads.
Once the exams are over, SOF usually takes around 30-45 days to deliver the result to the participated schools.
The SPR shows how students have performed in level-1.
The participants of the NSO Olympiad will receive an SPR, which helps the students and their guardians to analyze their weak points and work on the same.

The participation rate of the students in this Olympiad is very high pan India.
Before the declaration of the results, the SOF release a cut-off on its official website.
The students who have participated in the National Science Olympiad exam should keep checking the official website in order to stay updated.
If students clear the exam, they can participate in the level 2 exam.
However, students must know that only those in class 3-12th can move on to the NSO level 2 exam.
For classes 1 and 2, the percentage of marks is decided on the basis of level 1 only.
The exam is expected to be conducted in November. SOF provides a good platform for students to show their talents and get rewards for the same. This Olympiad aims to enhance and boost students’ knowledge. The strength of the students appearing for the exam is 10 lakh, which shows that it is quite a competitive exam. Class 1st -12th can register themselves. The candidate who qualifies level 1 exam will move on to level 2.
The answer keys are released online on the official site of SOF. The students can go through the same and match their answers accordingly. Many coaching institutes also release the keys. They can check from there also.
For the preparation for this exam, one needs to solve a variety of questions to check their observation and analytical skills. Moreover, solving a test series will give you an edge over others and speed up your preparation. It also helps in completing your paper on time. Furthermore, you must read the books of various boards like CBSE, ICSE, and the state.
The cut-off is mainly based on the applications the SOF receives. Moreover, the level of a difficult question also affects the cut-off.
The question paper of NSO contains 35 questions for students studying in classes 1 -5. One hour is given for it. The number of questions for classes 5-10 is 50, and the time allotted remains the same. The paper is conducted during school hours. The paper consists of three sections. The syllabus for 1st -10th include logical reasoning and science achievers’ sections. On the other hand, students should prepare chemistry, physics, achievers’ section, biology, and mathematics for classes 11 and 12.
