Pre RMO 2022-2023 Exam Date: Pre Regional Mathematical Olympiad is the first level of the Mathematical Olympiad in India. It is also known as the Qualifying or preliminary exam for the Regional Mathematical Olympiad. Candidates belonging to Classes 8-12 can participate in Pre regional Mathematical olympiad. Pre RMO 2022-2023 Exam Date

The Pre RMO exam was held on 9 January in the year 2021-2022. However, due to the resurgence of Covid-19, the exam has been postponed this year. The new dates were supposed to be announced on 15th September. Candidates should keep a check on the official website for instant details.

Pre RMO Registration 

The tentative program for Pre RMO Registration 2022-2023 was in the first week of September. Interested candidates must have registered themselves through their schools, which are needed to be registered as Pre RMO registration centers.

Each participating candidate is supposed to pay a fee of Rs 200 for the registration for the Pre regional Mathematical olympiad exam. The exam is conducted by Mathematics Teachers' Association (MTA). 
 

Pre RMO Registration Fee

The registration fee for Pre regional Mathematical olympiad is Rs. 200 per candidate. The Applicants should submit the same amount during registering themselves for the PRMO exam. 
 

Pre RMO Eligibility Criteria 

There are some Eligibility Criteria for Pre RMO to be filled by applicants to appear in the Pre regional Mathematical olympiad. Interested candidates-

• Must Be a Citizen of India
• Must be studying from 8-12 
• Must be born after 1 August 2021 to take part in this olympiad exam
• Students with Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cards can participate in the Pre RMO exam and all other stages except the last and the final one i.e., the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).
