The British kept us under their control for almost two centuries. And because of these tyrants, the nation's citizens suffered greatly. Until we are able to fight back against British officials, they will treat us like slaves. Under the direction of our leaders Jawahar Lal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Chandra Shekhar Azad, and Bhagat Singh, we fought valiantly and heroically for our independence. And the long-awaited wish came true on August 15, 1947.
