UPSC Notification 2018
As already published in UPSC Calendar 2018, the online notification for IAS Civil Services Exam 2018 will be released on February 7, 2018. The candidates after reading the detailed notification can apply online through the format prescribed, if they are eligible. IAS Notification 2018 will comprise of Exam Date, Eligibility Criteria, Registration Details and other. Through IAS Notification, aspirants will be able to get the detailed information on exam date, pattern, and marks of Preliminary examination, an Optional subject for UPSC Mains Exam etc.

The official notification for IAS Civil Services will be out on February 7th, 2018. The candidates who intend to apply are advised to read the notification carefully because it mentions the last date to apply, which is March 8th for this year. The UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2018 is going to be held on 3rd June 2018. There are two sessions according to Civil Services Prelims syllabus and the duration of the exam is one day. This year, IAS Mains Examination will be held on 1st October 2018 (Monday).
The registration process for UPSC IAS 2018 has been changed few year back. Now a days, the candidates need to apply through the online application link activated on the official website of UPSC I.e www.upsc.gov.in.
- For applying for Indian Administrative Service, the candidates must be the citizen of India.
- The candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a Central or State University under Section-3 of University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or an institution established under Parliamentary Act.
- The aspirants who are pursuing the end semester of his/her graduation or awaiting result can also apply for the Preliminary examination.
Age Limit and number of attempts
The age limit of the candidates and its relaxation provided (on the basis of category) will decide the number of chances you get to appear for the UPSC exam. For applying online, the candidates must have completed the age of 21 years and must not be more than 32 years of age on 1st August 2018 which means candidates should not have been born earlier than 2nd August 1986 or after 1st August 1997.

Application Fee for UPSC IAS Civil Services Exam 2018
The candidates need to pay the seperate Fee for IAS Civil Service Preliminary Exam and for IAS Civil Service Mains. For Preliminary exam, the fee is Rs 100/-, and there is no fee for ladies, SC/ST applicants and PH candidates. Both online and offline payment options are available.
