- 1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): This test assesses the candidate’s physical fitness on the basis of height parameters and he/ she needs to undergo PET (race) which is followed by biometric/ technology-aided identification test.
- 2. Physical Standard Test (PST): This test evaluates the physical standards of the candidates on the basis of three factors – height, chest and weight.
- 3. Detailed Medical Examination (DME): Shortlisted candidates who pass the PET and PST are required to go through a detailed medical examination and are medically examined by the Medical Boards constituted by the CAPFs to assess their physical and medical fitness.

About Exam
Staff Selection Commission-Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL) is a national-level level exam conducted by SSC every year. The exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for various posts such as Inspector of (Income Tax, Excise, Custom, Preventive, Assistant Section officer) and AAO, SI in CBI Auditor in CAG etc... in various ministries/departments/offices of the Government of India. SSC CGL recruitment 2020-21 has commenced on Dec-2021 to 31-Jan-2021. The SSC CGL Tier-I 2021 exam will be conducted from May 29 to 7 June, 2021.

Tier-III (Descriptive Paper): Tier-III -Paper will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks in ‘Pen and Paper’ Mode. The duration of the Descriptive Paper will be for one hour
The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-III would be 33 percent.
The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English. Part paper written in Hindi and Part in English will be awarded zero marks.

About Exam
Staff Selection Commission-Combined Higher Secondary Level (SSC CHSL) is a national-level level exam conducted by SSC every year. The exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for various posts such as LDC, JSA, PA, SA and DEO in various ministries/departments/offices of the Government of India. SSC CHSL recruitment 2020-21 has commenced on November 6, 2020. The SSC CHSL Tier-I 2021 exam will be conducted from April 12-27. Meanwhile, SSC CHSL Tier-I 2020 exam got over on October 26. SSC CHSL Tier-II 2020 exam date is yet to be out.

Essential Educational Qualifications
For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
Application Fee: Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only)
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
