UP Board Exams 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has announced that the board examinations may be delayed in comparison to last time. Usually, UP Board exams begin within the first week of February. Last year, i.e., 2024, it had commenced from Feb 22. However, once in the last five years, i.e. in 2022, the exams had taken place in March.
For 2025, the exams are likely to begin after 26 Feb 2024. The reason for the delay is being told to be Maha Kumbh. Last year, these examinations of the UP Board were conducted from 22 February to 9 March 2024. The board is expecting logistic problems and excessive rush in Prayagraj during this time and hence might get affected while smoothly conducting the examinations.
According to the latest update, Maha Kumbh will be concluded with the Mahashivratri on 26 February 2025. Only after that board exams will be conducted in Uttar Pradesh this year. However, it is expected that the board examinations will start only after 26 February. CCTVs are being installed at the exam centers so that there is no disturbance in the exam.
